[IRCA] EXTRA! EXTRA! IRA ELBERT NEW, III HAS NOW ENTERED THE WORLD OF HAM RADIO!

     Or should I say...TECHNICIAN! TECHNICIAN! Anyway...all pun and fun 
aside, I took and passed the exam for Technician class this morning and 
passed with a score or 31 out of 35. Amazing for me I must say as I had only 
scored a 32 out of 35 once online.

     After I was so excited about that, I took the General class exam and 
scored a 21 out of 35. That's pretty amazing too! I have looked at that exam 
only once and that was online last night. I took it then and scored an 8 out 
of 35. Still I think, if I had concentrated a little more, maybe I would 
have walked away with two exams passed today. However, I went to the Hamfest 
in Greenwood, SC with the intention of walking away a Ham. Mission 
accomplished!

     Now...where do I go from here?

     Also along the way, I met Paul at WABV in Abbeville, SC and Chris from 
Taylors, SC. Both are super guys. And God bless Paul for keeping WABV alive 
and well. Although the station needs a little TLC, Paul is doing a great job 
there. "You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din."
