[IRCA] WOR Towers

 Hello all....I was lucky enough to see the old WOR  710  NYC towers come down today.......It was carried at noon as a news item on WABC  Ch. 7  NYC.....quite impressive.....They even had a short interview with Tom Ray of WOR , one of our esteemed colleagues on these lists.. I grew up listening to WOR in the 40's and 50's. It was long the station of choice by my parents....while I was listening to the early rock on WINS, WMCA and WABC...but for news and talk, WOR was hard to beat ,and probably still is !!.       73     Chris    K4NHL    Taylors, S.C.
