Re: [IRCA] 440 Cuda

Run 440's like steam turbines - max rpm, long haul, full load. 440 0 - 50 @
4.5, 0 - 60 @ 5.e secs, more dramatic from 60 - 100. These cars are worth
fortune they say. Shoulda hung onto 85 Reliant - excellent radio.

Re DXng - refit 440 w/digital stock mopar late 80's AM/FM & amplified
antenna. Removed short telescoping whip, clamped on 31" steel antler. Sensitive, good
dynamic range. Cruise PVD listening to NYC, no trouble from local pestoids.

Reliant stock AM/FM radio - removed stock 31" antler, screwed on 6'
lo-bander. Yow. Racing home as Hurricane Bob approached ca. 91, listened to WPRO then
WHJJ starting around Danbury CT.

DXng? Yes. Vital? Quite. Plenty of non-DX'ers DX, they may not log sta's &
trade data, but they nonetheless value the ability to do so.

Barring any more 'gaming of the system' on part of FCC/CronyKasters, iBLOC
will bust, DXng will prevail.
