IMNSHO, the sixties didn't get started until about 1963 with the civil
rights movement, the Kennedy assassination, and the start of the Vietnam
War, and lasted until about 1974 (Nixon resignation, end of Vietnam
War). Before 1963, we were still in the fifties. Which means that the
seventies only lasted six years.
