11 monthes away from starting Grade 1.
I remember, quite clearly, the effect that it
had on everyone around me... older sister, parents,
neighbors, etc.
We watched the funeral on our B&W TV set.
For me, it was surreal. In some ways, this
was my first experience with sudden death.
At 5 years of age, I knew that noone lived forever
and ones destiny was often at someone elses hands.
