Russ,
I just go by the words that I read and try not to assume the most obvious. I agree with what Scott had written about competitive ownership on a lot of them. I have seen a few stations whose documented owners names were sometimes ambiguous, but again, I tried not to make assumptions. I do wonder about geographical closeness (or lack of) with regard to the Florida stations that I mentioned because I don't know how well stations get out. To me, Tampa and Orlando aren't that distant. The other Florida pair is further apart. Anyway, I researched for what I could. I hope I added to the info part rather than to the confusion part.

*** That's easy to say, but with WRVA there less than 250 miles away,
there ain't gonna be a lot of silence there. Unfortunately, I tuned to
1140 after the SSB had started. I'd be less convinced it was a s/on had
it been either 0630 or 0700, however.
