That's Raymond S. Moore, who was part of our NRC publishing team in 1967-68 when the last of the mimeographed bulletins were run off in the Watertown, Mass., apartment I shared with Bob Karchevski.
One of the highlights in my memory are the friendly arguments Ray and Gordon Nelson had about various antenna and propagation issues. Ray was one of very few DX'ers Gordon accepted as one of equal knowledge and reliability about the technical end of our esoteric hobby.
