I overslept again this morning and wasn't at the dials until about 5
minutes before dawn. I made it halfway up the dial before things
seemed to begin to fade out. The JJs were noticeably down and the
Koreans were nearly absent. However, what I take to be the Manchurian
transmitters of CNR1 were doing VERY well. 756 was quite good, 945
was HUGE.... maybe the best that I've ever heard (it has been almost
at this level for several days) and 1377 was doing well. All CNR1,
of course. Also interesting, maybe, was 1503, usually NHK1. Just as
things were fading out, I had very nice "Russian" classical music
there.... something that I'm not used to hearing at this time of day
on NHK1. There is a 10 kw. Russian near Vladivostok. Hummmmm. Also,
675 VN and 1575 VOA were doing rather well.
All the Koreans were either down or missing all together, and yet the
off-channel very low on 720 and the other off-chan just above 747
were doing well.... better than usual. Manchuria??? Wish that we had
someone in Japan who was a MW-Offset person. Nick are you going to
visit Lucy this year?????
