Hi Tim:

I listened to both Edson on 970 and Slave Lake on 1210 for several hours 
today and they are not parallel to each other. However, their ID's are very 
similar, plus they are all owned by the same group and they both play light 
rock. Where they differ is the FM frequencies used when they ID. Edson uses 
95.5 which is Jasper, and 1210 uses 92.7. Both give out a full ID around 3 
or 4 minutes past the hour.

The Edson 970 ID is as follows: This is the Fox radio group playing all 
kinds of stuff. CFXP-95.5FM Jasper; CFXG-1230AM Grand Cache; CFXE 970AM 
Edson and CFXA-97.5 Hinton. A Newcap radio station serving the West 
Yellowhead and beyond.

The Slave Lake 1210 ID: This is a Newcap radio station. CHSL 92.7 Slave 
Lake. The Fox, playing all kinds of stuff.
