No, not common. Last season (Winter), WGY was noted definitively 3 times (with ID or news) and by program match several others. WHAM-1180 was heard less often, but KOFI is more trouble on 1180 than KGO is on 810 from my QTH. Two nights ago conditions were very favorable to the East; WJR was dominating 760; CHWO was up in the KCBS null, etc.

WGY and WHAM are my only two New Yorkers ID'd for sure.

And yep, I've got a bit of distance on you... but www.indo.com/distance sez it's only 42 miles difference between Schenectady and here and Schenectady and Victoria :-)
