John,
Great to hear your imput too. With over 3,000 QSLS...Are they are MW? I
have 2935 MW and a few hundred others, SW, FM, TV, etc., about 3500-3600
total over the past 41 years. It sounds like you are in the same boat I
am, what to do with them. I do have some ppcs, even though I dislike
them too. I have tried in recent years being online to copy off
something from the stations web page, then put that together in a form
to mail them, if I need a ppc. At least it is of the station. E mail
QSLs are fine. I am getting to like them more all of the time. The
letter & card are my first choice, but an e mail is about second, or a
FAX. I do have a few of those too. I remember using forms made up from
the stations web sites and some stations have ran a copy off and used
that for QSLing. So sometimes it does catch on. But I think more and
more stations will QSL via e mail. KAST/KKEE Astoria uses that way
according to their GM. So it is the future.
