Walt,
Here I use the phaser with the SW EWE and NWNW EWE phased together. If I
phase out KNBR-680 or KSWB-840 I have a beautiful lobe to the N/NW. I
set it tonight and had KYUK 640 very good with NPR Jazz, but hardly a
sign of KFI. The same was true for a time with KNOM 780 way over KKOH
and KAGV 1110 dominant over KBND Bend OR. A phaser makes a big
difference.
The other night when AK conditions were great, I phased down KNBR and
had CHFA Edmonton in FF and also an UNID station playing a Bob Dylan
tune. I contacted KBRW Barrow and the GM thinks it might have been KBRW.
However the person on that night is off for a few days, so he could not
check for sure. Likely KBRW, but they are tough. But the phaser does a
good job.
