When I was in junior high in the 1960s I used to tell some of my government
and history teachers what I was hearing on SW. Most of them didn't feel I
could really hear Radio Moscow and, etc., so they did not pay much attention
to what I was saying. Then in what I believe was 1968 the US and S. Viet
forces invaded Cambodia, the day before the BBC WS had reported that US and S.
Viet. forces were about to invade that area in Cambodia that stuck in
Vietnam. I told one of my history teachers about it and he insisted that was not
going to happen!
That evening Pres. Nixon went on TV and explained why we were going into
Cambodia!
The next day that teacher pulled me aside and wanted to know how I had been
able to get access to such classified information!
