Greetings,

What a morning!!! My Filipinos are back and I even logged a new one. All
sorts of stuff in this morning. It would take a book to mention it all,
even if I could. Pile ups on so many frequencies. It was overwheming.
When I first started at the dials after 1300, it did not sound like much
of a morning. The A & K were down, so I wondered. But as it got closer
to 1330, things changed drastically. CC, KK, JJ, popped up everywhere.
Thai on 891 was dominant for a time. One JJ , I have not heard in a
while, at least to ID it was JOTR 936 Akita, really nice around 1425
with a female ancr in JJ mentioning "ABS" (Akita Broadcasting System).
Long QSL'd, but still nice to hear. I have not noticed it that strong in
years. What a morning. Here is a partial list.

531       AUSTRALIA, Port Macquirie, 2PM,  good with tele talk at 1430
10/3 (PM-OR)

531       JAPAN, Morioka JOQG, very good with JJ talk at 1320 10/3
(PM-OR)

540      JAPAN, Synchros. JO.. good on top at 1322 10/3 //531 (PM-OR)

558     JAPAN, Kobe JOCR good with YL in JJ talk at 1315 10/3  (PM-OR)

t558    PHILIPPINES, Pasig, DZXL, presumre the Filipino (Tagalog) talk
u/JOCR at 1337 10/3 (PM-OR)

567    JAPAN/CHINA   mix here in passing at 1339 10/3 (PM-OR)

594    JAPAN, Tokyo JOAK, fantastic "local-like" signal with man in
usual JJ talk at 1350 10/3 (PM-OR)

612    PHILIPPINES, Cebu City   DYRP, fair at 1407 10/3 with man in
Filipino talk (Tagalog). Sounded like he mentioned "Cebu" in
conversation with caller. (PM-OR)

639    CHINA, CNR1, very nice signal at 1314 10/3 with woman in CC with
nice interludes of popular CC mx. (PM-OR)

648     RUSSIA, presume the sourse of the KK talk at 1340 10/3 (PM-OR)

666     JAPAN, Osaka  JOBK, good with JJ talk at 1317 10/3 (PM-OR)

675     VIETNAM, fair with woman in VV talk in passing at 1353 10/3
(PM-OR)

711    PHILIPPINES, Tagalog talk in jumble at 1412 10/3, but too buried
to ID much. Likely  DZLW Naga City. (PM-OR)

t720   PHILIPPINES, Iloilo City, DYOK, likely the source of the Filipino
talk u/ jumble at 1419 10/3. Too much KUAI/KFIR/etc to make out much,
but this one is the only Filipino heard here in the past. (PM-OR)

729    PHILIPPINES, Filipino talk u/JOCK at 1421 10/3. (PM-OR)

855    CHINA, CC talk on top of off channel KK at 1410 10/3 (PM-OR)

891     THAILAND, Bangkok, good at 1412  10/3 with nice Thai mx and
woman in Thai. Best heard in a while, but not as strong as heard in the
past, as there was JJ QRM. (PM-OR)

936     JAPAN, Akita   JOTR, ABS, good on top of CC with JJ talk by YL
and Disco type mx, then male talk in JJ, YL mentioned "ABS" (Akita
Broadcasting System) at 1425 10/3. I have not IDed this is over 20 years
and hrd it so well. 5 KW. Unneeded, but sure nice to hear. (PM-OR)

t1017     PHILIPPINES, Iloilo City, DYRP, presume the source of the
Tagalog talk. In the past this one is the only one logged here. (PM-OR)

1062     PHILIPPINES, Quezon City, DZEC, good with man with tele talk
with caller at 1422 10/3. Mentioned "DZEC" in conversation. (PM-OR)

1116     AUSTRALIA, Brisbane  4BC good with man with caller at 1440 10/3
(PM-OR)

1125     PHILIPPINES, Davao City, DXGM, very good at times with male
ancr in Tagalog and some EE words, giving address of station, mentions
of DXGM and Davao City at 1427 10/3. Quite listenable at times. New for
me.  (PM-OR)
