[IRCA] A Fair Morning: Sept 20

Conditions seemed to recover quite a bit. Early, there was a bit of
a "spotlight" on North Korea and Manchuria, but most signals were
rather poor. During max dawn, things picked up quite a bit, with at
least weak hets on almost every split, right across the dial. The
dawn period would have been good at Grayland, so our folks who are
doing a pre-Convention DXpedition there, starting tonight, have
pretty good prospects.
The only real interest here was hearing JOWF, 1440-Sapporo under the
NAm co-channels. That is a somewhat unusual reception here (JOWF is
the parent station of JOWL-1197, the Little Engine that Could regular
here.) Also, there was some audio beneath the OC on 1098.... was likely Taiwan.
Convention starts Friday in Seaside, OR!
