   Your post encouraging. Your kids don't like FM? Welcome news. FM can prove 
fatiguing. What's there not to like about AM? No, it doesn't reproduce music 
exactly but neither did VanGogh reproduce a starry night. What if DaVinci had 
a digital camera? If R. Ditzey encourages AM listening, more the merrier. Best 
news in months...

640 Progreso outa Havana airs enticing music using ancient eastern bloc built 
mitters. R-390's and tube hi-fi stuff from 50s & early 60s found at hamfests 
reproduce it just fine. Off air cassettes of same sound fine in car.

Doesn't it demonstrate premise that people first seek substance rather than
