Hi Bob, and all, what Mexican satellite networks usually do is to
broadcast, unfiltered, the flag ship station of any of their networks,
for example, if you listen to x e k a m in tijuana at 950 for a short
period of time, and x e r f r in Mexico city announces their call sign,
you'd think you were listening to that station, unless, you heard 970,
which is x e r f r's frequency, and you'd know something was wrong,
when you were on 950, and I wonder, though I could be wrong, if this is
what's happening with xxtra 690 from Tijuana. I do wish that Mexican
networks would stop doing this, with networks like radio formula, and a
v c, and I wonder if w radio might be out of Ciudad Juarez from the
1110 there?

I know a few people have noted that XETRA is now using the calls XEWR,
and I also heard that tonight for the first time. However the Mexican
Log lists this call as in use in Ciudad Juarez on 1110. Tim Hall, can
you shed any light on this?
