Lots of DU/TP activity this morning. Yes, indeed my UNID Oldies station
(531) is 2PM, not doubts there, I caught them at 1330 with oldies and an
ID. China 639 was quite good with what sounded like a News format around
1315-1330 UTC. 612 was a strong 4QR with a fairly strong DYHP Cebu City
tearing it up. Nothing new heard, but it wasn't bad. JOQR 1134 was
armchair copy for a time. VOA was good on 1575. Lots of weak DU/TP stuff
on most channels. Tahiti 738 was good, as well as Fiji 639. No sign of
FF on 729, just Japan and some garbled stuff in the background. Stations
like JOAK-594 and JOUB-774 were S9+15 DB or more, totally armchair copy.
Even decent on a portable.
