Well, now, 40 years ago at KPDN-1340 in Pampa, Texas (now deleted), I did play-by-play from the Top O' Texas Rodeo, a four-night RCA event (Rodeo Cowboys of America) with top cowboys flying back and forth between Pampa and the Calgary Stampede ... Thursday and Saturday competitors in Pampa would ride Friday and Sunday in Calgary and vice versa.
The hardest event to describe was the girls' barrel race.
