[IRCA] TP's this morning

Hello,

 

R. Rossii fair at 1017 UT on 180 kHz, fair signal and thought that it would be around for a while, but completely faded out. Pips at 1100 UT for R. Rossii on 279 kHz weak signal,  pips came through at TOH. 

 

JOUB 774 was fair at times 1123 UT, but mostly weak.  HLAZ 1566 weak at 1027.  The two above the only Asian MW heard this summer.   The last couple of years, 594 JOAK was heard in September.  No sign of them or JOAB 693 this summer. 

 

Thanks for the tip on Tonga 1017 Pat.  I listened this morning, but no luck, 1017 is decent here with not that much interference from domestic stations.  With power lines about 20' South of the EWE when in the Southwest position, this may be the reason I have only heard Tahiti on 738. Not even Hawaii

Have used the KIWA and Space magnet, nothing from Asia or DU with those.   Might bring the 5' loop in from the garage and give it a try.  Have heard the TP powerhouses with it in the past.
