I would guess that not much money has been spent by KFIR in quite a while.  Patrick, check out the second photo. The 720 sign is next to the building on the ground, perhaps they can't afford to install it. hi. (I know a mean shot)- perhaps I could do it for them?  Joking aside, Paul, thanks for that info. on the towers / power out. Interesting.
 
Patrick..... the grounds looked to be on the un-maintained side but on the other hand, it's in a fairly out of the way location away from town.  Sweet Home is a fairly small- out of the way -town and for it to have a 10kw station is sort of interesting to me.  Albany's KRKT 990 used to play CW music- now progressive- and that leaves mostly 103.7 KXPC - CW. There are other CW stations are in Portland or Eugene.  KFIR is definitely a "home-town" station.... everything about it's programming and advertising- anyways. It's refreshing.
