Kaz, you're right about laying out a BOG no more than about 900 feet due to
ground losses. Several times I've ran one out to around 2200 feet and each
time it was a waste of my time. Not deaf, but definitly not as good as I
thought they would be. My current 750' longwire has out peformed those BOG's
several fold.
