Re: [IRCA] TA on the west coast

>From San Diego CA 1985-1991. TA's logged were as follows with audio: best cx
were 1986 around Thanksgiving. I lived just above an elevated valley north
of San Diego (city part) and had a very clear horizon to the NE and NNE and
slopers that favored those directions.

1314 Norway, some mx and a YL talking (I have this on tape somewhere) and
this was my best. 1044 Morocco, had occasional bits of AA mx a few times and
enough to tell it wasn't slop and was AA mx/chants. 1035 Portugal bits of
rock mx and PP ancr a few times. 1062 Portugal once // 1035. A couple others
were close to audio levels and probably could've been had on Bevs/BOGs. The
best night had 40 !!! yes 40 carriers/weak hets detectable (this was the
night I had 1314, and also had decent carrier from 1521 around Saudi's 0300
s/on)

1404 Guinea could be noted with OC when they turned on their carrier in the
mornings and was clear steady OC a few times at my Beverage site on easterly
Bevs around 1989, 1990.
