I have an old Heathkit Signal Generator, I use for transmitting the
audio of the receiver, so I can monitor it out at the antenna. I don't
know exactly how much power it has, but with only a 3 foot vertical on
FM, it can cover 2 miles in any direction. With FM it does not take much
to get out. I used to use it as a pirate back in the 70s, and had a
turntable/amp hooked up to it. From an apt in downtown Astoria, it
covered most of the city.

    • Tänään iltapäivällä ei tullut tuota abhaasinkielistä idiä vaan venäjänkielistä ohjelmaa, ja sekin R. Rossiita. Tosin 1510-1600 eri ohjelmaa kuin 261 kHz, mutta ei kuulostanut silti mielestäni Sotshin tai muunkaan paikalliselta, vaan ehkä vain joku eri aikavyöhykkeen täyteohjelma, joka päättyi normaaleihin R. Rossiin ideihin 1559. Ilm. siis eri päivinä tulee erikielisiäkin ohjelmia.
