Gotta reply. Among my other duties as a Hospital Corpsman
was that of a neuropsychiatric technician. Primarily, I worked in
psychiatry. The majority of active duty, and their families, we saw
were suffering from anxiety/depression. In today's world, a large
number of our populace suffer from various levels of depression. We
all experience depression at various times in our life--among a
number of reasons for depression, most notably, is when someone close
to us passes on. After a time, we re-group and move on. Some people don't.
If I offend anyone by the following, I apologize in advance.
Using a male as an example, it takes one hangy-down body part to
admit to yourself that you have a problem, and it definitely takes
two hangy-down body parts to seek help. And, yes, there is help available.
