[IRCA] Whine from 940 and 1320Khz

Thanks to many who responded about the whine/whistle from a station on
1320Khz. that can be heard on 1310 and 1330. It has been identified by
several east coast DX'ers as coming from WJAS.

The whistle/whine suspected to come from someone on 940Khz is still there -
audible this evening. On the Drake R8A it is most noticable on 925Khz in
USB and 955Khz LSB. On the car radio it shows up as a modulated
whine/whistle on 930 and 950, not a steady tone that would come from a het.
Loop bearing is roughly NW/SE, too far south for a Euro carrier, so I still
suspect its from a domsetic. Could it be one of the following; WFAW, CJGX
or WKGM?

If it's not heard on the east coast perhaps it is coming from someone
further west.

Give it a try and let me know what you hear. This is one way to keep the
hobby going during the summer!
