It is one thing to discuss a station maybe operating at high power later
than they should in the lists, but it is a totally different matter when
a DXer hassles a station personally. No doubt about it, there are
cheaters and several I have noticed. It is easy to catch a station 500
miles away operating with 5 KW, rather than the 93 watts they should be
all night and night after night.  But in many cases the station in
question is broadcasting legally as they might have special permission,
a PSSA, or whatever.  I remember contacting a the CE of a station in
Portland, as they were operating with full daytime power all night for
several nights. I was quite polite and the CE checked the computer and
found there was a glitch in the system and fixed it. He thanked me very
much as he did not want the FCC on his tail.  So there are decent ways
to handle such things too.  But make darn sure you know that station is
cheating. But arrogence does not help the DXing hobby. A few ruin it for
everyone else.
