J.D. and all,
I have been monitoring the IBOC posts and so far things have been civil.
I don't see any problem in discussing the subject as long as there are
no flames. It is a subject that will affect us all. Many of us, it
already has affected our DXing. The subject of IBOC is a very real
concern of DXers and what can be done to control the noise in regards to
DXing. The only error I have seen was not changing the subject line. I
was just as guilty on that myself.
With a computer, anyone should beable to set their spam filter to
delete anything with the word IBOC in the subject line.
There are many subjects on the list that are not DX related and yet
they are discussed. Many don't interest me, so I hit the delete button.
As long as things stay civil and people enjoy the subject of IBOC, I
don't see any issues here. Just keep IBOC in the subject line and
discuss the subject. I don't want IBOC to take over the whole list like
in the past either. That turns people off too. Like the old say goes,
everything in moderation.
Lynn may have different feelings, but I don't see an issue here. But
please keep it civil and no flames.
Thanks.
73,
Patrick
