Not only is TV & FM E-skip season around the
corner, so is 6 meter amateur E-skip possibilities. I wait for this all
year and DX opportunities abound.
Wierd thing is, most people in larger metro areas
have cable and the whole thing is lost on them. I remember, when I was a
kid, flipping channels and seeing (or hearing) distant stations on TV. The
old reliable was KMID in Midland, Texas on channel 2 coming in at strength on
the old black and white box.
I realize this is off topic, but I couldn't
resist.
