Thanks. No, the Palstar was out of the circuit. I did not need it as the
beverage gives me plenty of gain and directivity. No locals on 1320/1340
to cause splatter or anything like that. I just had the beverage plugged
into the back of the R8. 
  I set the timer last night again and I will check the tape later
today. But there is a good chance I may never heard WORD/WYRD again, but
hopefully it may pop in with a better ID.
