Only ever hear them with French but Tahitian ID's on the
hour... and I do believe they use some kind
of interval signal on the hour.
If anyone is curious -- one of the reasons
for running low modulation is to get
more mileage out of the P.A. tubes
and power supply components.
Running transmitters in the tropics entails
higher than average attention to maintainance...
transmitters, studio equipment as well as
antennas.
