I don't think this has to be an "either/or" situation. As with WTIC,
I think DXers who reported are looking for closure. If Kent had said
up front that he just wasn't staffed to handle QSLing, that would be
cool; I would have tried for the test anyway. I think he could be
asked in a friendly way how he was coming along. Would it help if one
of us printed QSL cards for him to sign and send out? Would he be
comfortable sending all the reports to one of us to verify? I'm not
ganging up on him but I think it's OK if we try to be resourceful and
try to find ways to make things happen. By exploring this on the
list, we can avoid someone's sending a snotty, demanding E-mail which
would indeed damage the relationship.
