[IRCA] Receiver question

Fellow DXers,

 

I have a chance to buy a used Icom IC-R71A for $350. I’d appreciate any advice you can offer on the following questions:

 

  1. How good is this receiver as a BCB DX tool?

 

  1. How does it compare to a basic, no-frills NRD-535 in performance?

 

  1. Is $350 a fair price?
