Right -
Wobbler can be elusive or leap from set in confrontive - never rude - manner. Spent Friday on Boca Grande, photo shoot for Croquet Tournament. Gasparilla Inn grounds sprawling, surrounded by water. Excellent site.
Cadena HaWobbler Report:
1080 - Something happenin' here. Usually makes it over local 1070. Not
Friday. Carrier up, no audio, strong spur 1083. Mess.
Most reliable of Cadena triumvirate - 1080, 1100, & 1120. Usually, that is.
1100 - What can one say? Carrier? Yes. Audio? No. Not program audio.
Wobbling a unique melody - pigeons cooing in
rooftop coop. Similar to tunes of elderly gent who appeared ca.
1960 on WBZ TV 4 "Community Auditions" Sunday mornings - sponsored by
Community Opticians.
His act? Playing 'music' by flexing long wood saw. Inspired Metallica.
1120 -Weakest of three on Friday, no less interesting. Wall of
sound in Three Part Dystopian Harmony:
1. Muffled audio. Did Fido finally lock baby bro' Raul in attic closet? Is
that Raul scratching door, kicking walls, yelling for help? Or
is Cadena playing Bugged Yanquitos' Greatest Hits? You know, tapes
made of Hellywood stars in privacy of their rooms at Hotel Nacionale?
2. Telco hum - AC-ish but hard, harsh. Can Mamacita Bell fix?
3. Back by demando popular! "Bumblebee". Beloved rumble-bumble-buzz-buzz
in dull rhythmic droning pattern graced Rebelde 1180 all summer into autumn.
After late fall disappearance, to hear it anew uplifts the spirit. Gracias, Arnito!
