Pete,

I have the R8 and I must admit I can tune around in the 2.3 khz filter
in AM, but the audio gets tiresome very quickly. Now the 2.3 khz crystal
filter in the SPR4 is even tighter. I use the 2.3 khz filter on the R8
in ECSS generally. Much easier on my ears. hi.
