Hi Doug
I have spent a lot of time camping about 35 miles SE of Bend and found the
DX to be good. But the California stations are very strong and its hard to
hear other station under them. And yes Bend is colder than Prescott Valley
the sun is out today and its 68! In Portland I could not hear any station
under KSL but here I have heard 3! There are very few strong stations at
night so I can get stations under them. At first I did not think that I
would be able to get a TP station but thats not the case as in October they
were in most nights.
