Everyone, take this as a warning.
I know I'm late with this and the other guys are right.
I'm sure 99.99% of the folks out there know this stuff but there's always
that percentage that fall for these scams and get ripped of to the max. If
you have the slightest inkling that somethings a bit odd, get rid of it.
Never, ever, use your SSN on the net or the phone. Otherwise, you might as
well send them a whole set of your personal records and the permission to do
what they please. A few months back a guy on the phone wanted the last four
numbers of my SSN to verify that he was talking to the genuine article. Some
reason I let his spiel drag on and then he said, well how about giving me
two numbers. I told him that one would be one too many. (expressive words
deleted here). End of spiel.
