I seem to recall that WALE was one of a handful of stations -- along with 
WRNO on shortwave -- that used to broadcast "American Dissident Voices" from 
the neo-nazi National Alliance/National Vanguard 
(http://www.nationalvanguard.org).  That they would air such dreck should 
tell you everything you would want to know about this station.
