[IRCA] TP 17 Dec Victoria version.

This morning fitted into the category of "firehose, drinking thereof"

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

567 JOIK 1548UT

594 JOAK 1529UT

603 HLSA 1516UT

693 JOAB s/off chimes 1542UT

747 JOIB 1531UT

774 JOUB 1519UT

828 JOBB 1514UT

945 CNR1 1539UT

972 HLSA 1517UT

1566 HLAZ assumed, oriental stringed music 1535UT, then male vocal; was also doing well 1634-1653UT with man in Russian, fading up and down to good peaks, well after local sunrise

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

666 JOBK 1540UT

702 NHK2 //747 1537UT

873 JOGB 1527UT

954 JOKR two men Japanese 1537UT

1188 JOKP //594 1536UT

1287 JOHR man Japanese 1528UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

558 HLQH //603 1529UT (Japanese woman there also..JOCP likely

612 JOLK //594 1528UT

639 CNR1 woman in Chinese //945 1524UT

657 N. Korea orchestral music //3320 1550UT

711 HLKA man in Korean 1547UT

738 woman in Japanese, man agreeing 1533UT

738 HLKG man talking 1534UT //864

864 HLKR //738 1534UT

891 JOHK //594 1546UT
...replaced by
891 HLKB man in Korean //711 1547UT, but had been there earlier

1017 CRI woman in Korean 1541UT

1089 NHK2 mixing with orchestral music likely CNR6, 1535UT

1134 JOQR lively Japanese talk, someone else underneath 1531UT

1242 JOLF man in Japanese 1533UT

1323 CRI man in Russian 1519UT

1503 JOUK NHK1 interlude music 1510UT

1557 Taiwan? woman in Chinese 1540-1UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

531 JOQG //1503 1510UT

540 NHK1 //1503 1510UT

576 JODG //1503 1510UT; this looks like another new one from NHK1 parallel harvest at 1510UT

585 JOPG //594 1512UT

594 3WV man talking //612, quite a mess, as there were NHK1 parallels also

603 NHK1 //1503 1510UT

612 4QR //594

621 Heilongjiang RGD usual easy listing 1519UT //900

675 NHK1 //1503 1510UT

729 JOCK //594 1517UT

738 Taiwan Fisheries //1143 1532UT

819 JONK //1503 interlude music 1510UT; new here

819 female opera 1545UT, N. Korea?

855 operatic vocals 1531UT, N. Korea?

900 Heilongjiang RGD easy listing //621, sneaking past domestic sports 1519UT

909 JOCB //774 1524UT

1044 woman talking, Japanese intonation; likely CRI 1511UT

1098 man talking, north Flag, but not //CNR1 stations 1547UT (CNR11?)

1143 Taiwan Fisheries //738 1532UT

1206 Yanbian? woman talking, Korean intonation 1519UT

1386 NHK2 s/off music box 1543UT

1575 woman SE Asian language? 1539UT, but no ID audible 1530UT

1593 NHK2 s/off music box 1543UT

1593 CNR1 //945 1520UT

1611 Philippines? female vocal 1553UT, wasn't parallel to rmniloilo.net; is there a separate stream for 1611? Man was talking at 1600UT, and may be able to dig something out of that, but haven't yet.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

684 837 846 918 936 963 981  1008 1035 1053 1107 1179  1197 1215 1251  1269  1278 1314 1422 1458  1494 seemed to be Asian;
792 1116 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
