[IRCA] TP 29 Nov Victoria version.

Some variety this morning, but perhaps not so much strength, with again the most action between 1530 and 1600UT

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK 1528UT

747 JOIB music box s/off 1544UT

973 HLSA 1537UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

567 JOIK //594 1524UT

774 JOUB music box 1544UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

612 4QR woman on phone, man in studio, DU English 1528UT

945 CNR1 man talking, portentous music //1593 and 1251; 1549UT

1251 CNR1 woman and man //6175 1535UT, only a slight delay

1287 JOHR man and woman in Japanese 1535UT

1503 JOUK erratic, with man talking, but peaking at this level //594 1552UT

1557 RTI man in Chinese 1554UT; 1600UT 3 and 1 pips, which weren't repeated on the webstream until 3.5 minutes later. Also, someone else seemed on channel, and possibly weak Chinese pips on the hour.

1566 HLAZ assumed, man in Chinese 1533UT, choral music; still popping up 1652UT at this level, with Russian talk by man

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

576 man talking DU English intonation 1530UT

621 slow orchestral music, later with vocals 1524UT, better on north Flag, but not Korea, because it was on channel

639 CNR1 man //6175 1521UT

954 man Japanese intonation 1538UT

1089 CNR6? operatic singing by woman, seemed parallel with very weak 6165 1522UT, but then covered by man talking //774 1523UT

1107 woman talking, think it was Korean intonation 1526UT

1323 woman Russian intonation1539UT

1593 NHK2 music box 1541UT; by 1549UT, man talking ///945

1602 NHK2 music box 1542UT, had to null 1600 a bit for this, using west Flag

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

 711 738  837 891  1098 1242   1278 1305 1314 1332 1341 1359 1377 1422  1449 1458  1485 1494 1521 1539  1575 seemed to be Asian;
621 891 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
