Just before 1600 UTC, there was a minor surge top band --
and I think (brace yourself...) *1566 khz Korea became audible! *

Apart from that, it was pathetic -- there is definitely some
other force at work other than polar absorption that kyboshes
our stellar TP's -- some kind of D Layer thing maybe?
Not at all understood I gather.
