[IRCA] Oct 29 WC TP's - If it keeps on raining, the levee's gonna break...

I'm still in TP DX rehab after so many weeks and weeks of early rising left
me a tad burned out.

This morning I popped down to the dials for 5 minutes around 1350 UTC.

Although the sheer frenetic nature of the dial "dialed" itself back a few
clicks, it still sounded
less like a train station and more like a Halloween house party.
Frequencies still had loud primaries,
with a primary echo indicating a "Syncro" underneath and then a 3rd
"secondary" station chattering away.

945 Khz for instance was a primary Chinese male speaker delivering what
sounded like news, there was
an identical echo below it and then there was a 3rd station in Chinese
carrying a more laid back program material - still talking mind you.

Oddly, and this will perplex Nick - on *1368* khz there was "tommy gun"
style Chinese talk by a woman and
over/under that was some gentle easy listening music - all the while not a
single BAR on Nick's Fish Barrel radar...
All at good levels not having any trouble with 1370 -- and that was at
13:55 UTC.

In a quick scan, I found easy copy audio on 531, 567, 585, 694, 603 (Big K
Pop), 612, 621, 639, 675, 702, 711, 738, 747, 756, 774, 819, 828, 846, 855,
873, 909, 918, 945, 963, 972, 1017, 1089, 1098, 1107, etc...
once again 1575 with Lao or Khmer VOA programming easily topped 1566 Korea
in over signal strength.

It's 1552 UTC now and there are still carriers. -- definitely not as
dramatic as Saturday morning.
