Re: [IRCA] Yikes-- Ocean Beach Conditions!
Aha, you got the 22 October surprise Gary. I thought that never
happened there?
Actually, nothing like the 22 October boost happened here, although
conditions continued to be fairly good up to near 1500UT.
best wishes,
Nick

Who messed with the ionosphere this morning? I don't know if Colin
or Nick stayed on the band until around 1445, but it was even
wackier than yesterday. 864-HLKR and 963-CRI were pounding in at S9
on the 5" Frequent Flyer FSL, and 1143-BEL3 and 1044-CRI weren't far
behind. 837 had a mix of NHK1 and China, while yesterday's S9+
performers on 603, 639, 657 and 738 all repeated their romps.
531-JOQG and many other stations managed their best signals ever
here-- all on an antenna tiny enough to hold in your hand.
Absolutely wild-- full details to follow.
