[IRCA] TP 27 Aug Victoria version.

Subdued DUs today.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

no

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

756 RNZ National likely, man DU English 1231UT; also woman DU English 1304UT and into a jazz vocal

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 RNZ National man mumbling //756 1236UT

594 3WV // 702, improved slightly in strength after 1226UT

612 4QR, barely noted fanfare, then woman with likely "ABC News"

603 R. Waatea island vocal music //765 1216UT

675 RNZ National, man talking //567 1242UT

702 2BL woman talking //barely audible 594 1226UT

765 R. Kahungunu island vocals 1216UT; //603

1548 4QD fanfare 1300UT, woman "ABC news" likely 1300UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

1566 seemed to be Asian;
 576 585 738 909 1017 1503 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
