Oh, oh â now you did it â opened up the door to âmemory lane!â
Hereâs a cut from Radio Cook Islands from July 1980 recorded, as far as I can recall, on a Barlow-Wadley XCR-30 [which I still have] and a cheap little portable cassette recorder at the Orange Grove Lodge about half way around the island from the airport:

Out of RA news with ID mentioning both 630 and 5045 kHz.
I almost forgot all about these tapes and the article I wrote for the 1981 WRTH about my visit.

Now if I can only FIND my copy of the 1981 WRTH!
