[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-24

Craig Barnes certainly picked an excellent morning to chase TP's at the Kalaloch Lodge! All the usual big gun Asians were potent both before and after dawn, while several second tier TP's rode a daybreak enhancement boost to their best audio in some time.

The Japanese big guns were pounding in at S7 levels on 594, 693 and 747 during a predawn band check at 1130, and they were joined by 972-HLCA at that level around 1300. The high band was also in play at that time, with good audio from 1566 and fair peaks on 1575 and 1593 (CNR1). 738-BEL2 was already managing some audio at 1315 in the KCBS splatter, and it sure didn't sound like the usual Chinese variety show at all. When KCBS began to fade around 1335 the Taiwan Fisheries signal (apparently // to a weak 1143) built up strength to an S7 level, with male and female speech definitely not in Chinese (maybe in Indonesian, like Nick had discovered on the website schedule). Fortunately the 738-Taiwan Fisheries signal was well above average at this time for the language check, along with an above average signal from 603-HLSA during the same daybreak boost. 1575-VOA and 1593-CNR1 both rode the same boost to good peaks in and out, while 1134-JOQR was following the Japanese big gun pattern with fair audio. Although both 603-HLSA and 972-HLCA were potent during the daybreak boost somehow 657-Pyongyang was MIA all morning (as if that was a big loss). As Nick suggested 1377 was checked several times during the session for anything exotic, but the watered-down Puyallup version of sunrise enhancement bailed around 1400 here, dropping all the Asians back down in the noise. Craig (on the ocean coast at Kalaloch, WA) was given an update on Nick's probable 1377-RRI reception yesterday, though, and he certainly has no such limitation.

603 HLSA Namyang, S. Korea Korean pop music at a good level at 1328 (hosted by the usual female announcer); no sign of the Chinese co-channel all session long https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/xksjyvp4937fy52zewis948hf0da1b7i

738 BEL2 Penghu, Taiwan (Taiwan Fisheries) Female and male speech at S7 level in non-Chinese language at 1338-- Indonesian? https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/9sj1vf82kmchil3hojh1vuwx971j8k43
