[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-19

Declining solar conditions took their toll on the second tier Asians this morning, with none of the regulars on 603, 657 or 738 showing up. Even the Korean powerhouse 972-HLCA was MIA, for the first time this month. There were some strong Asian signals, though-- If you like the low band Japanese big guns then it wasn't a bad session at all. 594 and 693 were really pounding in around 1400, but almost everything else was left in the lurch.

A predawn band check at 1030 didn't reveal any Asian carriers at all, so expectations for the session were reasonably low. Live DXing started at 1330, and TP audio was strictly limited to the Japanese big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 828 and 1566-HLAZ. 594 and 693 seemed to be in a special category among the NHK big guns this morning, with both building up to S9 strength around 1400 while the others stayed at fairly anemic levels. The high band did have 1575-VOA joining 1566 with fair audio after 1400 but neither signal was anything to shout about. The collection of Asian big guns started to bail around 1410 here, with 594 and 693 the last to fade. Based on many years of experience with sessions like this,,psychological preparation is in place for a very lengthy DU-DX report from Victoria today.

693 JOAB Tokyo, Japan S9+ strength at 1359 with the tail end of the Chinese lessons, the 3+1 time pips at 1400 and the start of English lessons https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/xdxds04s45abx5c5xi9e2hmzkqqg5kwf
