Re: [IRCA] Why can't I read some IRCA posts?

<<< I appreciate the interest in my postings. I also read all the postings that come through. I resorted to forwarding my original massage and cc'ing myself in an effort to ensure the postings made it through. I resorting to sending one directly to Gary DeBack the other day due to 8 unsuccessful attempts to post my report on the IRCA list. I used both my Yahoo and Gmail just in case. Forwarding seemed to work, albeit resulting in a the message appearing in an awkward format. I will be travelling to Kalaloch next week and anticipate some log awaited west coast TP DX. I will try to ensure my reports/recordings make it through. I will be sending my reports either via my IPhone or my IPad Mini. Any insights or suggestions are welcome.

Craig and All,

I can sympathize with anyone using the AOL email service who attempts to post to the IRCA list, and ends up with his message being shown as an "attachment" on most computers-- with many phones unable to even open the "attachment."

Up until about 2014 I used the AOL email service to post to the IRCA list without any problems, and all my messages were fully displayed. But it seems like AOL changed their software around that time, and my messages ended up being shown as "attachments" on most computers (like Craig's current issue).

The problem came to a head during a Rockwork 4 DXpedition, when NZ expert Theo told me he didn't like opening up the "attachments" every day to review the multiple Kiwi station recordings. Needing his assistance pretty seriously, I promptly switched to the Comcast email service to post to the IRCA list :-)
