[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-18

Wow! Pretty exceptional conditions prevailed for both the big gun TP's and several second tier stations as well-- during both the predawn darkness and sunrise enhancement. 657-Pyongyang hit an S9 level here just before 1300, while potent Chinese stations showed up on 603 and 738 around the same time.

During antenna testing in the predawn darkness at 1030 the Korean big gun 972-HLCA was already at an S9 level, so it was obvious that conditions were well enhanced over yesterday. By 1300 there was an S7 mix of China and HLSA, while 738-BEL2 started managing peaks of the same strength (which would continue until 1415). 936-China (Anhui?) produced weak audio around the same time, while 657-Pyongyang managed another S9 peak with its 3+1 pips at 1330. All the while the big guns on 594, 693, 747 and 972 were at S9 peaks in and out, with 774 and 828 not far behind. By 1400 (daybreak here) 603 had become a real battleground, with China finally taking over at an S7 level. The watered-down Puyallup version of sunrise enhancement lasted until around 1420 this morning, with 594 and 972 still at S9 peaks around 1415, when they pretty rapidly succumbed to the propagation reaper. Overall it was an excellent morning-- easily one of the best of the year so far.
