[IRCA] TP 16 Feb Victoria version

Sit back, enjoy the relative blandness of this morning's DX.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man in Japanese, interviewing woman on phone 1514UT
774 JOUB woman in Portuguese //693 1443UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

693 JOAB woman in Portuguese //774 1443UT
747 JOIB English lessons 1432UT
828 JOBB English lessons 1431UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

954 JOKR peak at 1449UT man in Japanese, but also "90.5" in English, TBS FM frequency
1116 4BC likely; man and woman talking, DU English "65 thousand dollars" 1449UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Chinese briefly this level 1530UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 HLQB woman talking, then music //603 1441UT
567 JOIK music //594 1433UT
603 HLSA female ballad 1434UT, but sometimes man talking underneath. //558 at 1441UT.
1503 JOUK flute music //594 1526UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)
585 639 864 891  972 1053 1134 1242 1287 1314 1323 1332 1575 1593 seemed to be Asian;
 612 756 846 1017 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
